Staff was good except for the cashier, who was not helpful when asking an explanation of the bill. The prices were at least double what your local mechanic would charge. Will not be going back. Now I understand why they were empty in their service area.

I like Zeigler Subaru, because its easy to book an appointment that works with my schedule, they don't try to upsell you on everything, and they have good records as to what has already been done or what might need to be addressed at the next visit. Plus they mail me coupons!

The reason I came in this time was due to my battery needing to be jumped to start. The battery was only 6 months old. This has been my third battery in a few years. There has to be something electronically defective in my car or the Subaru batteries are defective.

My only complaint is that they continued to tell me that it might be ready the next day, causing me to continuously change me schedule. I was provided a car while the work was done even the agreement indicated at least 3 days. It actually took 5 days.

I had a check engine light come on intermittently and my heating system was not functioning properly. Good news is my service writer took great care of me! They recommended 4 other services at about $1200 (seriously) one star for that. Declined Declined Declined Declined Good job by the transportation department! No Charge!!

The service was fine. The price for an oil change was ridiculous. I can get the same oil change at a five star garage in Schererville for half that price. I have talked to a couple of other Subaru owners and they started taking their cars there for oil changes.

The loaner vehicle performed great. However, the seats in the Outback were uncomfortable on my back. I was glad to get back my Solterra for my back's sake. There wasn't anything wrong with the Outback, it just has different seats. And we have had 4 Outback's prior to our Solterra purchase. When we were loaned an Outback Wilderness previously, those seats were similar to the Solterra and I didn't experience the comfort issue.

Made an appointment for 9:45 to have two recalls fixed, I was early, waited about 5 minutes and the service mgr said it will take about 2 hours to complete, and do I want to wait, or get a ride home and they'll drop the car off when complete, I said yes. That was nice.

Everything was great EXCEPT when I made my appointment to have the Z-Guard reapplied I also was supposed to get my tires rotated. I got half way home (I live an hour from Zeigler) and realized I never paid for the tire rotation so I called and they stated they forgot to rotate my tires. I was not very happy because I was already almost 2,000 miles past a tire rotation and my car was already there in the service dept.
