The issue for which I brought my car in was quickly identified - along with some other issues that needed to be addressed. I appreciated being able to make an appointment early in the morning, and I was also grateful that all of the problems could be addressed in a short turn around time. I was kept apprised of things along the way, and I was able to drive away feeling confident about the condition of my car. Thank you.

My service rep, Vinnie, was friendly and very thorough in explaining what they would do and also in explaining the bill at the end of my visit. He also gave me an accurate estimate of how long the service would take.
The waiting area is clean, quiet and has coffee available.

Techs checked out why the Check Engine and Eyesight lights were on. Discovered it seemed to be an issue with the gas cap, which I had suspected and tried a few time to unscrew and retighten--to no avail. Issue was resolved and, to my everlasting surprise, at no charge. I appreciate this level of expertise and honesty--which will keep me servicing my Legacy at McGrath Subaru.

Courteous service and professional. Service advisor updated me with the progress and findings, and indicated which findings are truly needed. Service advisor was also willing to work with me on accommodating the high total charges.
I've seen a tremendous improvement with this dealership after it changed hands and started management under the McGrath company.

Rick, my service advisor, was excellent. He was helpful, understanding, and efficient from start to finish. Even though I felt I might bother him by coming back to ask another question, I never felt that way after he greeted a talked with me. Frankly, I probably would not have had the work done there, costing over $2000, if not for him. I was also pleased with how good the car feels after the repair.

The wait is too long! They replaced the battery under warranty, but did not add that to the record. They told me they were sending me an email about services because their printer was done, never received anything. The waiting room is not comfortable.

Great communication by staff on update and progress of vehicle. Vehicle service performed well, makes a difference in the driving experience to have new front brakes. They made sure to get the latest brakes because prior ones might have been squeaky or noisy and they were aware of the updated parts.

Excellent, thorough service. Took care of routine maintenance and addressed special concern of dashboard light signaling low tire pressure. Explained the cause of the problem to me and options to correct it. I wasn't pressured to decide and when i changed my mind about what i wanted done, were very gracious in accommodating me. I'm glad I'm able to work with such helpful gracious people.

Repairs were throughly explained. It was recommended what needed to be done right away & what repairs could be done later in the year. This helped tremendously to spread out the bill. Rick was extremely courteous. He had my car pulled inside for me when leaving to avoid a fall.

They dropped me off at my health club and as they were getting done with the service, they called me up to see if I needed a ride back. So I got my car serviced and a full workout. Everything that needed done was completed. The best part was that my total was less than I was quoted.

I used the Express Service for my regular oil change and tire rotation. They also checked fluids, belts, filters, etc. The service rep was pleasant and polite, the service was done quickly, the waiting room is clean, quiet and friendly. At the end, I received a checklist listing the status of all the things they examined. They even washed the car without my asking them!

I will never go back! McGrath Evanston Subaru has become a total joke...the service department has gone from being one of the best in the area to the worst and they have lost my business. I came in multiple times to have a broken tail light replaced, to find a different excuse every single time - at the end, I took it to a different shop, and wow, it was completed in 15 minutes!

Was never able to get the timing right here despite following directions. Last time even the system tracking the progress of my car didn't work or wasn't calibrated or something and when I mentioned it, I was met with attitude from James. Kinda disappointing as my warranty is now over. Will be considering where to continue my business.

The service writer, Rick, and the technician specialist, Stephen S, have always been wonderful to me and took care of my car. Every time my car gets serviced, it feels like a new car every time I pull out of the lot. It's great service that I receive, and McGrath Evanston Subaru is the most consistent service shop that I have frequently visited after one year of purchasing my Subaru. Definitely 5 star in my book.
