This was my second attempt with this dealership. The first attempt I waited 6 hours for an oil change and front end alignment that when it was completed I had to get them to buff out a huge scratch on my black truck that was never machined washed since buying with 0 miles. They took care of it and all was well. So, this attempt I brought it in for a scheduled oil change and recall. Needless to say a new service advisor came out to upsell more than listen to my needs and reason for visit. He proceeded to tell me he's going to do me a favor by getting my ticking noise checked out and fixed(even though it was under warranty) and it should have been checked on my last visit because it sounded the same. So I said ok while he's still saying oh I got you and you won't spend a dime and he would save me money and that he was doing me a favor; that I should go buy extended warranty. So, ultimately I needed a ride home and made it clear that I needed my vehicle that day for work. So there is so much more and way too much to type so to pre-close I didn't get my vehicle that day, called in to work, I did most of the communication on status updates, and then I had to find my own ride back to pick up my truck the next day because there weren't any loaners or drivers. In conclusion, I lost wages, paid for an uber, was told to come back or schedule another appointment for the half fixed warranty claim they filed for over $4k, and then the biggest kicker is that I had to text the advisor yesterday to close the ticket that was supposed to be closed out for service to keep my well maintained badge from the actual service date of 3/7/25. I wouldn't recommend until they get a service department overhaul.

Came to have drive belt replaced which I was quoted $207.13. I had a $50 off service coupon that was also to be honored. Service advisor Jay lied about price of drive belt telling me the part alone was $145 so his written quote was done incorrectly, but the dealership was going to "honor it". He attempted to make me feel as though I was being given a deal. I wasn't. even before coming I called and the service was already quoted at $230 plus tax over the phone( he didn't even know that). So again he lied. He shows me my filter and me not paying attention told him to go for it. Said filter being 99.00 for is a rip off.Jay couldn't stomach the idea that my service so supposed to total around 150plus tax so he went looking for something else to charge me for because HE "mis quoted" the service . My fault for not verifying the price of the filter, but he didn't communicate the price either so again him being dishonest. Annoyed with the price I pay for the service because at least I was supposed to receive my $50.00 right?! Well I did the math and I didn't. I get a debit receipt but not a copy of my RO and break down so I can see everything. Cashier says oh we simply text it to your phone. I was there a week ago and got paper so that's interesting I wait a few minutes. Ask again about this text message and a told again oh it takes a few she's too lazy to print. I leave because I have been here for 3 hours and have things to do. 1.5 hours go by and still no text. I called again ask for a copy, ask for it to be emailed. Cashier says she'll send the text again I verify my number and still to RO. I have a feeling Jay didn't print the RO because he knew he lied about part price and didn't bill me correctly. So asking for an RO 3x and not getting it is suspect and Jay is dishonest and I can't trust this dealer going forward. Do yourself a favor a choose another dealer because integrity and customer service is low here. I won't be back because what happened here was dirty business. RUN!

I had just left another Chevy service department after sitting outside waiting for someone to acknowledge me for an hour with a scheduled appointment. I immediately went online and scheduled another appointment with this Clay Cooley Chevrolet service department which is another city from my closest dept. I was acknowledged as soon as I drive into the carport by Tim Siddons. All my auto service needs were met that same day with professionalism and promptness. Thank you all.

Too expensive! Over $300 for an oil change, $100 of that was labor! There is no way I will be back for an oil change! These prices is what FORCES customers to go to the "Quick Oil Change" facilities! Sure, I gave permission to have the air filters changed, but I did so after asking why I needed the air filter changed when the car's sensor said I had over 50% life left.... The "mileage" excuse was comical, but I went ahead and agreed NOT KNOWING I'd be charged LABOR for THAT service! RIDICULOUS!

Every time I take my truck to get serviced its always issues. Previously I came in for an oil change and after it was complete they left the cap off my engine and oil splashed every where under my hood. This most recent time my repair was suppose to take one day and ended up being three days. And the service manager stated that they fix something that did not not need to be fixed and the actual issue they will fix for free. I asked him why am I paying for something that did not need to be fixed? And recanted his statement that everything needed to be fixed but they are fixing the second issue for free because they did not catch in the beginning. I get my vehicle back and two days later my check engine light is back on. I bring it back, and they fix the issue for free. Needless to say I wont be back at Clay Cooley even though it is close to my house, I will drive further for better service.

Mr. Ransom, sorry for the experience you had. I know we did a pretty big major repair. Unfortunately after you left you had to come back. We did find a lose hose connect that caused a EVAP leak and the check engine light to come on. Sometimes these hoses can be tricky to connect and we didn't connect it good enough. As with anything in life mistakes happens and people are human and not perfect, but we are sorry for the mishap. I left you a personal message to call my cell phone anytime.
