John Jones would not negotiate price on a 16 Tahoe on Fri 22 Feb. So I bought a 16 Tahoe at Brown Brothers Sat 23 Feb. Tue 26 Feb they dropped the price $1,018! Guess that worked they sold the car but lost a potential future customer in the process.

I have searched for about a year for an older Chevy 4x4 regular cab. I finally located one at John Jones GMC outlet in Greenville IN. But what to do? Im an older, disabled veteran and its a daunting trip to travel from Virginia. Mark Bain, sales rep answered a lot of email, phone questions, their website provided detailed photos and I was satisfied with the one owner, one dealer, and carfax report, and, since the truck was purchased from John Jones Chevrolet Dealer back to 1990. Wow. Although not a show truck the condition was amazing for its age. I had owned a 1988 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4 and when my new truck arrived on a car hauler I was delighted! Mark hired a great fellow, Quinn, to promptly deliver the Chevy. No better care and trust in the condition could have happened! I asked Mark, would you put your grandma in the truck and be assured she could drive halfway acrosss the country? Absolutely! He answered. Now Ive had the truck a few days Ive driven all around town to the admiration of other truck drivers. The engine and transmission are sound and tight. I judge the mechanical soundness of the truck as an indication of the John Jones dealership and prior owners dedication to due mechanical maintenance. I have a few minor interior issues to correct with my local upholsterer, but they were exactly the same as my 1988 Chevy, so no surprises there. Its a beast of a work truck, well cared for & maintained. And Im very grateful to Mark Bain in working with me to get a sight unseen purchase and delivery. Great job! A Grand Old Dame Of a Truck!
